The movie is absolutely nothing like the book. 90% of it was changed. I recommend you read the book to understand the story more. Since they left out characters, significant events, story lines, additional details, etc. Its pitiful what they did.

Read the books and you will understand that they ruined the story line beyond belief and their mistakes are at this point, irreversible.

It is a good movie, if you didnt read the book. Dont get me wrong, I enjoyed the movie myself, but in the movie they messed up some major parts of the book up. Broom isnt suppose to die until the Second Book / Movie, and just so many things are different in this movie its crazy. Last I heard what they are doing is Remaking THIS movie, and if that one is better, they will continue making them, but Im not sure if its fact or fiction. Id suggest reading the books if you enjoyed the movie.

k i had to make an account for this... BROM DOES NOT DIE in the second book, HE DIES IN THE FIRST one!!! Otherwise i totally agree with you good movie if you are not a die hard fan of the books.

If by Broom you mean Brom, he dies in the first book, and another Eragon movie would not be a remake of this train wreck because it might actually follow the amazing story line that Paolini so eloquently wrote.
