Omigod no! This cannot happen! Its nothing like how the book ended! Roger was supposed to die and Lord Asriel was supposed to cross into another world! Movies these days. Books are much more reliable...

I completely agree with you, I read the whole series and this movie really lets down the fans who watch this movie after reading the books. Oh such a great ending!...not, the f**king ending of the movie is her riding of on f**kin Iorek to the f**king arctic, IN THE MIDDLE OF F**KING NOWHERE.

Excellent. Thoroughly enjoyable. Theres a common theme in these Sword and Sorcerer type movies and its this. TPTB, or the Magisterium, or whatever you want to call them have always held on to power by denying basic knowledge to the rest of us. I am 100% convinced this was behind the burning of the Library at Alexandria. Hundreds, perhaps thousands of invaluable gnostic texts went up in flames. Inestimable knowledge that could have helped humanity. But we got this vengeful, jealous, insecure god Yahweh, who thinks hes the master of the Universe, who wont allow anyone to have this knowledge. We have to have the courage to Yahweh and his Magisterium.
