	i live in germany i think whats good about our school system is that after 4th grade kids are divided into 3 differnt types of schools depending on how good they are. Usually the teacher recommends what school they should visit depending on how good they are. Ofcourse this leads to stereotypes but at least those who really are smart learn more and even if you go to a "hauptschule"(lowest level of school) you can still go to university if you really want to, so you always have an option	+1

	I have heard that Texas controls most of our public educational books. And they actually make the book subjects (i.e. Math, English, Science)easier so that more people will be able to do the work. That way they sell more books than if they were too hard or challenging.	+2
