	I thought it was a very good movie. It showed the real struggles blacks went through. Prejudice like this really existed in those times and I think its important to bring it to light. All the actors did an amazing job! Great story and perfect amount of comedy, drama and seriousness.	0

	I also made an account just to comment on this. I am white and let me tell you that we are discriminated against as well. It doesnt matter what your race is someone will always discriminate. Nothing has changed. Havent watched this movie yet and why does it really matter when that really is not the point of the movie? Also not all white ppl are racist. You cant judge everyone by certain ppl. that goes for any race. Try having someone discriminate against you in a language you dont speak. Some dont even have the decency to say it in English. At least back then you knew what they were saying. Racism will always exist no matter how equal everyone is. I truly believe that it starts with the parents. If you arent raised that way you wont think that way and if you are well there ya go. So teach your children different and make sure they have a variety of different friends....black, white, mexican, Japanese, Chinese, ect. If you dont raise them to be friends then that is what comes of it. I was lucky to have parents that loved everyone.	0

	Im a white guy, and I worked for richers that treated me like a slave. They were rich old white fux that thought their sh@t didnt stink. That is how most rich folks treat ANYBODY not in their social class, today, anyway.	+1

	Well, I saw the movie and thought it was great. I watched it on DivxStage and dont know why it got a unhappy smiley face. There were no dark parts where I had a hard time seeing and the audio was also great. The only problem I had was that I couldnt watch it in full screen. A: 5/5 V:5/5	+1

	Anon. 17:11 comment should be removed. This person did not see Oprah show or Dateline or learn that the author had some lawsuits against her because the fictionalized characters were so similar to both black and white women she knew. The story is about the opression of not only blacks at that time, but also of WOMEN. And that there are good and bad in ALL situations/classes. Read the book, do some research...that is what movies such as this are for. To encourage discourse and research to see how far people have come.	+1
