	Ok, this is my second time watching this movie, and I cant believe how many detractors it has! First, it has Javier Bardem as the villain, and as we all saw in "No Country for Old Men" this dude kicks ass as a villain! Second, of course 007 is a super human, can you really think of a bond movie where he was anything less? Perhaps they pushed the envelope a bit with him getting shot twice and falling off of a bridge, but its certainly not impossible for someone to survive that kind of a fall into turbulent waters, and if both shots missed the vital organs, arteries, and major bones (which it kinda shows that both shots were in the shoulder area) than someone could potentially still be able to stagger out of the river and to a hospital. Lets not forget, this guy is supposed to be the baddest mofo from MI6, highly trained, fit, agile, and above all a resourceful survivor, if anyone could do the things done it this movie, it would be someone like that.	+2

	nicely said @Rigante, though they did initally start James Bond Televised with Casino Royale in 1954 after the novel in 1953 it was only 48 minutes long and was actually a live Tv showing rather than a movie, they did not officially start the Movie series until 1962 with Dr. No and in which ended up not being in chronological order. As a Bond fan i can say i still thouroughly enjoy the series and hopefully will continue to do so	-1

	oh my God i miss the james bond of the 90s..the spy who loved me, die another day...when i was little i watched these movies over and over again not coz i understood anything.. but the cars.. his guns..his suit...the buildings..wristwatches...submarines..an d above all his taste of women...no m is even dead...ill give this move a 3/10 this guyz are just corrupting rogers legacies...they should make their own movies..not use the name james bond. that name is legendary	+3

	These daniel craig bonds are prequels. Did you not listen in casino royale when they said he just earned his 00 status. Its all a bit mixed up but they are prequels to what we all know as bond. I would have thought they dropped enough hints in this film for people to figure this out ayyyyy.	+1

	@ebenizzy From 1044 critic reviews @IMDb, 110 have give this 1/10* and 40 2/10* alone, which is nearly 15% of the votes, this you do not get on a 8/10* rated film. To the point of this info they are saying (film is hyped up) the same has "you and others" that posted when this was first put up, how does this help me? 	Actually Rigante any time a new actor takes over a 007 its called a reboot not a prequel. They say in the first Daniel Craig bond movie that when an agent dies a new 007 takes their place and earns the title. Technically this is not a prequel. How could it be? A prequel would have to be set before the 60s they use modern day stuff in the current films. Seriously Rigante you talked down to these people yet you are the moron.	0

	Actually TinoFaygo,you have me confused with someone more ignorant than yourself. Did you think I would post something I didnt know anything about ? Why dont you google IAN FLEMMING and look at which book is actually the first James Bond story in the entire series. I can save you the trouble by informing you it is in fact Casino Royale written in 1953. They did not start the movies in chronological order that is why they did Casino Royale as Daniel Craigs first Bond movie. The first ever james Bond mission. They have already done 99% of the other novels/ movies with other actors playing Bond. Not other agents taking his name. Quantum of Solace is a bit out of whack, as I posted earlier its a bit mixed up. but still it is one of the earlier stories. Skyfall is especially written as a prequel to the other bond films and to reintroduce the original MoneyPenny, Q and M to the new generation. TinaFaygo you have shown yourself to be totally ignorant, abusive and downright wrong. Did you even know that Ian Flemming was the author of James Bond ? Did you think to check your info before calling people names, NO YOU DIDN"T. Also a Reboot is a moderm term to restart your computer lol couldnt resist that one. You could say to do a reboot is to redo or re envision an older/ another version, for example; Total recall. Not when you hire another actor, OMG. There can be no arguement that Casino Royale is the First James Bond novel written, therefore its a prequel to all the other James Bonds we grew up with. I was actually explaining to ebenizzy why there was no subs or flash gadgets etc. Not talking down to everyone as you put it. 	this left the triditional james bond movie feel in total but was still a dam good movie I actually liked everything but the name I would rename it "to the ends of the world" cause the villain was kick ass and die hard the one pet peeve was not many gadgets for a bond flick none the less I would give it easy 8.6 if it were not a bond movie 8.8	0
