You Mods need to start watching what mungruez keeps spouting off. Thats just too much crazy. See the comments on the movie The Bay. I dont know if you just hadnt seen it but its like watching a handicapped child trying to figure out quantum physics. It just doesnt work right.

They could have done so much more with this but overall, it wasnt a bad movie. Its definitely not a guy movie, but the concept is cool. The painting was hauntingly amazing. The nudity and free love with everyone was...interesting but not offensive. You would have thought that if they were going to take certain parts of this to the extent they did, they would have put more thought into the second half of the movie. Good vs Evil..eh..maybe but its a stretch. I see where they were going but..they just didnt GET there. Its kinda like the old Creep Show snippets..aaaaaaaaaaaaalmost! It should have had some kind of secretive direction instead of blatant IM HERE!!!!! COME SEE ME!!! type scenerios. Overall I liked it though.

I suspect the views of those raving about this movie are coloured by their feelings for the book. The movie was ok but that is all, nothing spectacular.
